Cubs – 8 to 10½ years

Develop new skills. Soar to great heights. Being a Cub opens up a whole other world.

The Cub pack meet weekly at our Hanford HQ on a Thursday night, between 7:00 and 8:15 pm.

Join Cub Leader Julie and the team, and explore a variety of activities across Staffordshire and beyond.

The Cubs take part in a range of section, group and district camps traveling to sites such as Rudyard, Consall, and Kibblestone.

Cub Scouts enjoy new adventures while making new friends along the way. Their commitment is recognised by over thirty activity badges. As well as regular weekly meeting, Cub Scouts also enjoy activity days, weekend camps and pack holidays. Boys and girls:

  • Go camping
  • Play games
  • Explore the outdoors
  • Try adventurous activities – such as climbing, sailing and archery
  • Meet people from their local community
  • Experience the culture of other countries
  • Keep themselves and others safe
