The Troop Leadership Forum
About 3 or 4 times a year, the Patrol Leaders, Asst. Patrol Leaders, Young Leaders, and the Troop Leadership team, meet to discuss important issues about how the Troop is run.
The topics under discussion include feedback from previous events, ideas for new events, when and how often to run camps, which badges they would like to work on, and other important topics.
All Scouts can put their view forward either by contacting a member of the leadership team or by discussing their thoughts with their PL or APL.
The Troop forum provides an opportunity for our young people to get involved with and influence how the troop is run and what it gets up to. It is also an opportunity for leaders to here directly the views and issues our young people have.
Troop forums are organised and chaired by our Asst Scout Leader, David, and run on fairly formal lines, with agenda and minutes.
